"Mountain Eagle" is original watercolour painting of forest and lake combined in a unique double exposure style, on 11"x14" cold-press watercolour paper.
I was inspired to create this artwork after my trip through Rocky Mountains in Alberta. It was cold early November, so every mountain and tree had that blue tint to it. I saw eagles soaring in the skies and was determined to create a piece when I get back home. With the ability to soar to heights others merely dream of, the eagle is a powerful animal that offers lessons about looking closely details in order to see life from a broader perspective. Allow your heart to guide you, and opportunities you never dreamed of are possible.
