This Bighorn Sheep is another piece inspired from my trip through Canadian Rockies. We’ve met many of the bighorns on our way and it was enchanting to see them in their natural habitat – how they detect movement and objects from far away, how they climb up and down on tiny footholds or jump a few metres high from ledge to ledge to safety. I painted this Ram with its rugged habitat on a mountain slope overlooking a cold river bank.
